Protect Our Woodland

Campaigning to Save Ancient Landscapes

PO Box 4144, Worthing West Sussex England

And to save West Durrington from the developers.

Despite what the developers are saying, their new planning application for West Durrington will have a massive impact on the area. Residents of Durrington will see a suburb rise on what is now woodland and meadow. Gone the bird song, deer and badger replaced by over a thousand cars and a minimum of 850 houses.

The rural feel of Durrington, Titnore Lane, the ancient woodlands and all the wildlife etc in the area are so important to us all, that we must stop these developers. (And that includes objecting to the massive new Tesco Hypermarket) However for us to succeed, each and everyone must do their bit. That doesn't mean out every night banging on doors to drum up support, what it does mean though is looking through the menu below and adopting a task.

Many of you I know are excellent letter writers, so you might choose to write to the papers, let the developers and Worthing borough council know that you are objecting to the development. Others may like delivering leaflets or getting signatures on the petition.

But what ever you do you must write TODAY and let the council know how you feel about this and the Tesco plan.
