Spring Equinox Music Celebration

A musical Springtime celebration of our beautiful Sussex Downland
3.00pm - 7.00pm: Live Music Performances: from traditional Folk to Folktronica!
7.00pm - 9.00pm: Open mic & music jam, food, chat, chill time, ambient music.
OSTARA is a solar festival, being one of two days in the year when day and night are of equal length. Spring is here, and new life is starting to appear all around us. Days will now lengthen, and light will triumph over the darkness of winter!
PERFORMERS:
Yew 3ree - Kathy Porter, The Remarkable 1, The Jezter - Folk-Hop, vocal, rap, electronic beats.
3 of Us - Gary Holder, Tracey Murphie and Darren Wingate - vocal, double bass, bass, electric guitar.
Magda and Peter - vocal, sax, guitar, mandolin, harmonica.
Emily and the Hares - vocal/folk
Paul Deacon - vocal/folk and readings
Ruby - vocal, guitar (leader of Tin Roots)
Sompting Village Morris
and Guests tbc.
FULLY LICENCED BAR: (usual hours)
VEG FOOD: £4 - Ploughmans or Jacket potato/salad. Easy parking.
ON SALE: Local honey from Paynes Southdown Bee Farms, hand-made thumbsticks, maps, art cards and a raffle too!
ADMISSION:
£7 (£8 on the door), £5 for WD members, kidz under 16 free. Join Worthing Downlanders on the day, including admission for £10. Please support the Worthing Downlanders and help protect our Downland heritage.
